After breakfast, your African lodge safari will begin your two-hours drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the journey, you will pass by beautiful Maasai Villages and the open plain that become synonymous with images of Tanzania.
Once in Tarangire, you will begin your African lodge safari game drive across the endless golden savannah that grazes along the Tarangire River. The river plays a major role as the main and vital source of water for all the animals in the park and region during the dry season.
The Tarangire River provides a regular visit of large herds of elephants as well as other wildlife such as Zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and warthogs famously known as (Pumba) in the famous lion King Movie which was partly filmed in the great Serengeti plains, a must-see in your bucket list.
